Privacy Policy (GDPR / CCPA)
BrandCurrentStudio processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you hold.
Data we collect. When you contact us or engage our services, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, project brief, and billing details required to issue invoices. Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed may be processed through essential server logs to keep the service secure and available.
Purpose and legal basis. We process personal data to respond to inquiries, prepare and perform contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), comply with legal obligations such as tax retention (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and — only where you have consented — to send studio updates (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) support basic security logging and abuse prevention.
Retention. Inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Contractual and invoicing records are retained for the statutory German commercial and tax retention periods (typically 6–10 years).
Recipients and transfers. Data is shared only with processors essential to running the studio (hosting, email, payment settlement) under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal information. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. CCPA residents may additionally request disclosure or deletion of personal information and may opt out of any “sale” (we do not sell data). To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
